Ate there in the restaurant last week. Food was ok, but nothing special for a coaching inn. Service was not impressive.

We went for Christmas lunch on 25th Dec 2024. They messed our table booking up, kept us waiting 25 minutes, the pate starter was a disgrace, the Christmas pudding was tough did not eat it, cheese board was a laugh. Staff were untrained and pretty useless. This was our 3rd visit, it has changed hands, they are just penny pinching.

Terrible experience, & over Christmas! The room was cramped with dust on the cushions & pillows. Bed was uncomfortable with the pillows smelling like an old man! The food wasn’t much better. My Mother was shouted at on Christmas Day for being ten mins late for breakfast & there is only one vegetarian option on the menu which came out overcooked. Would not visit again & a shame as we were so excited for our Christmas break.

Had a lovely stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was roomy and hot water a plenty.
The food was fantastic. I happened to stay on 22nd December so a full Xmas dinner was the only thing I wanted and I was not disappointed. The ham hock terrine starter was delicious. Breakfast offered a great selection of cereals and fruit, toast and jams but I opted for the full English (buffet style) with a fresh pot of coffee delivered to the table.

Works do in the conferance suite on dec 7th. Served stater at 7.40pm and sweet at 9.55pm, say no more, no problem with food quality, bar was atrocious, twice served 3 pints of larger before last one was fizzy and at £6.00 a pint its not acceptable. Even though work was paying it was a let down, why at christmas does service and quaility suffer and the price goes up?? Breakfast the following morning was very good with choice and availability. Overall from a venue such as coaching inn group i would have expected more. Have been to others in the group at holt and blackeny with no complaints.

I went in for a Sunday roast as it's what I fancied, and The Three Swans was close by. They greeted me with open arms even though I didn't have a booking and was eating alone. I was then promptly served my drink and food once ordered. I had the seasonal turkey roast, and my gosh, make sure you go on an empty tummy like I did as it was huge. You get three massive roast potatoes, loads of carrots, Brussels, parsnips, pigs in blanket, stuffing, red cabbage, loads of turkey, and a huge yorkshire. It was all what I wanted, but everything could have had a little more crisp to it and less like it had been sitting around for some time. Having the option of Cranberry sauce was a nice touch though. I would go again as for the volume of food I thought £17 wasn't to bad.

Gezellig hotel met ruime en schone kamers. Ligt midden in het centrum van het dorp met gratis parkeren. Ontbijt was ook goed verzorgd zelfs met black pudding.

It rained, but inside it was lovely! We were eating out with friends for the evening so just had B&B. Breakfast was great apart from the fact that one young waitress was rushed off her feet - others (and we only saw 3) were obviously busy elsewhere!
Congrats to the young lady. I almost felt that I should be helping her, but as it was wet a Sunday morning, I guess no-one was in a great rush. I'd certainly go back (and maybe give her a hand!).

We had a room overlooking the car park which was fine as we were at street level to take the dog for a walk. There is a £15 charge on top of the room rate for a dog. The site we booked it through said it was included but it wasn't on arrival, not the hotels fault but bear that in mind if you use a price comparison site.

This wonderful hotel is truly a gem in Market Harborough! True hospitality from the heart everytime I visit and the only place I stay now when working in the area.
Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly service. The room I stayed in was lovely—spacious, beautifully decorated, and most importantly, spotlessly clean. Every detail had clearly been thought of to ensure a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was simply amazing. There was a fantastic variety of options, all fresh and delicious, ensuring a great start to each day. The location of the hotel is also perfect, right in the heart of the town, making it convenient to explore the local area.
If you’re looking for a combination of charm, cleanliness, and excellent service, the Three Swans Hotel is the ideal place to stay. I can’t wait to visit again!

Only stayed one night for business. The room looked good but the bed wasn't comfy at all. These days it's not a lot to ask, plus missing Aircon. Breakfast was tasty if a little cold and undercooked

Looked at the menu as found out if its your birthday you get a meal for free. Told the young man and he asked for I'd. My wife couldn't find any I'd on her. Later on I found her date of birth on one of my emails. They gave me the discount. Very nice and friendly staff. Will recommend to other people.

We thought the Three Swans was a lovely hotel.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean and welcoming and the hotel also had ample parking, with charging stations just around the corner in the pay and display car park if required.
The breakfast was lovely and offered plenty of choice and even though we didn’t have dinner there, it’s clear it has something for everyone, including pizza fresh from its very own pizza oven.
Although the town itself seems quite small, it was a nice place to visit for the evening and we’ll therefore have no hesitation in visiting again.

I booked the Three Swans for a pre wedding dinner for 20 people. Chantal was great on the run up and the staff on the day were incredible. Considering they had a large table to serve everything came out quickly, hot and delicious! Highly recommend going!
